Program Description:
The University
Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a publicly-funded Catholic university that was opened in 1991 following the amalgamation of four Catholic tertiary institutions in eastern Australia. ACU serves over 34,000 students across multiple campuses Australia and a newly opened campus in Rome. The University has four faculties:
  • Faculty of Education and Arts
  • Faculty of Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Law and Business
  • Faculty of Theology and Philosophy
The Program
While studying abroad at ACU, students have the opportunity to take classes across the four faculties provided they meet all of the necessary pre-requisites.
*This program is only available for nursing students.

The City
ACU’s St Patrick’s Campus is located right next to the Melbourne Central Business District (CBD) and a short walk from the suburb of Fitzroy with its eclectic cafes, shops and galleries.

Offers state-of-the-art, fully-furnished accommodation on Franklin Street, directly opposite Queen Victoria Market. From this prime city location, our Melbourne Campus is easy to get to by tram, walking or bike.

Community engagement
Students have the opportunity to participate in community engagement as part of their study abroad experience. Study Abroad plus community engagement enables the active participation in a placement in a not-for profit community organization while also being enrolled in two to three academic units.
