The American University of Rome (AUR) is a fully accredited American-style university where courses are taught in English set against the rich cultural and historical backdrop of Italy's capital, Rome. With over 2,000 years of civilization, Rome entrances with ancient history and modern art, centuries old tradition alongside contemporary scholarship. 

Students can take courses in a variety of fields, including: archaeology and classics, art history,communication & English, film and fine arts, international relations and global politics, Italian Studies, and religious studies.
