Program Description:
Through Brown University's program in Berlin, students have the option of taking courses in German (advanced track) or take courses in English (Intermediate track; German language course required) at Humboldt Universität. Past program participants have taken courses in a variety of fields including: history, art history, international studies, political science, religion, German, Medical Studies, natural sciences, chemistry, physics, computer science, comparative literarture, and international relations. Students may enroll in all departments of the universities for which they have appropriate academic preparation. 

A thriving modern European Capital, Berlin allows students the unique experience of learning what the 1989 reunification still means for present day Germany while realizing the fast-changing world of a large Eurozone nation deeply invested in innovation and progress.
